Family Talks Parts 1 & 2 (ages 7-12)

Part I fAmiLy talkS: What is ALS and How Do I Talk About It? Youth and children who love a person with ALS (children, grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, and more) desire to be heard and told the truth. They often understand much more than we give them credit for, and starting from a point of openness and honesty is crucial.

Part II fAmiLy talkS: The Challenges of Being a Young Caregiver
Youth and children who love a person with ALS desire to be heard and told the truth. Additionally, caregiving can greatly impact friendships, school performance, and overall social interaction. Young caregivers will have an opportunity to connect with others just like them, and children and families will receive an activity handbook to help serve as a companion guide in starting and continuing these open fAmiLy talkS.
